An original oil painting on artists board by Anthony Rickards, 20th century British artist, "Rio Ognissanti, Venice", scene of people enjoying a sunny day walking beside a Venice canal, 12" x 16", signed Rickards in the lower left corner front, inscribed on reverse - "Rio Ognissanti, Venice" and Anthony Rickards, U.A., 15 Belmont Avenue, Cockfosters (London)", CA number 3899, CA purchased December 2022 from an English auction house.
The painting has been cleaned and varnished.
It has been reframed with a white linen liner and 2 1/4" Abe Munn antiqued silver Carlo Moratti distressed reproduction moulding.
