C,1970's; Original, Reed & Barton Silversmith Co., is this large & footed, oval-shaped, deep coved, serving bowl, and/or center bowl. To each his/her own desirability of use. But a wonderful addition to the varied and afraid silver pieces we have listed of Reed and Barton and distinctive Maker's with provenance. Reed & Barton in America; is one of the most well respected, coveted and desired silversmith co., and manufacturer collections, of serving pieces and ensemble collections. Makers mark sticker is affixed to base bottom, as image indicates, along side this is the production model # engraved within the base, states, Reed & Barton and the # 60 below that Piece is in fabulous condition, with "only," minor wear to base bottom, as image indicates and perhaps a miiniscule scratch to inset base, otherwise no pitting whatsoever, and very well preserved and maintained.
We apologize if item seem darker or lighter, given it was staged outdoors in natural light, and the sun sometimes in and out of clouds showcase silver sometimes with slightly darker background due to sun, but the silver itself is accurate in condition, well preserved. less
