The nightstands have an amazing shape with a slight bow to the front, and legs that nicely curve from the top and have a slight splay at the feet. I adore the brass sabots on the front two feet! The wood itself has a diamond inlay pattern on the front two drawers and beautiful wood grain on the sides. They are thickly lacquered, so the wood looks elegantly glossy while the unfinished tops are topped with a mirror mimicking the shape of the piece. One of the mirrors is newly made (as the original was damaged). You cannot tell which is which, but they are not affixed to the base so a glue, tape, etc is recommended. However, there are metal "brackets" on the tops to hold the mirrors in place, which is such a lovely, designer touch. Incredible, unique pair! No maker's mark but these have all the signs of a Pascaud design. less
