It depicts a tranquil harbor scene. The date of production is estimated to be c. 1940 based on the type of boats in the harbor. The transitions of blue throughout the painting are of particular note. The painting is housed in a wood frame that appears to be of a newer age when compared to the painting. The frame measures 46.5" x 30.5" x 1". The stretcher is 42" x 26".

The painting is in very good condition with vibrant colors. There is craqueler present throughout the painting. The last photo was taken at an angle in order to best show this feature. The frame, most likely newer than the painting, is in very good to excellent condition. less
