Created in China during the last part of the Qing Dynasty period in the early years of the 20th century, this decorative box features a rectangular lid with ornate cut-out brass corners, opening thanks to a brass medallion to reveal a convenient interior. The façade showcases a nice dovetail construction revealing the piece's age. The sides present C-scroll handles allowing the box to be moved more easily.
