A bold stylistic abstract mixed media by artist Jason Stallings.
The painting “13th Floor” is an abstract portrait incorporating a portrait of a local music critic from Sprinster Records in the Bishop Arts district. The base design also takes influence from the album cover design of a 1960’s rock album by the band the “13th Floor Elevators.” Mixed media collage on canvas. Primarily acrylic, gouche, and oil pastel. Also some paper collage is included and fastened with PH neutral glue.
Vivid organic greens and hints of pastel colors flow organically throughout the piece.
In excellent condition. Signed by the artist in the lower right hand corner. Ready to hang in any front entryway or living room to make a stylish statement.
