- A fabulous find of 1940's, African American artist Billy Seay's, Flamingos, gouache painting style with airbrush over print technique commissioned … more A fabulous find of 1940's, African American artist Billy Seay's, Flamingos, gouache painting style with airbrush over print technique commissioned by Turner Manufacturing Company. His work is a fine example of the post WWII Hawaiian tropical art and décor boom. The original cream colored wood frame with woven rattan style detail has slight vintage wear from age but is ready for display with new backing and hanging display wire. Piece is just as vivid in person as pictured in photos. Beautiful shading and three-dimensional detail in keeping with Mr. Seay's style and technique. You are sure to love it! less
