Description: Offered is an exquisite hand blown glass reproduction of an ancient Roman square glass decanter, identified as a model found … more Offered is an exquisite hand blown glass reproduction of an ancient Roman square glass decanter, identified as a model found in museums such as the British Museum and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The originals are from the 1st to the 3rd centuries AD. The artisans who make these stay as true as possible to the original techniques when glass slowly replaced the use of clay jugs. The finger handle is slightly ribbed which stems from the stretching and folding process.

It measures 5.5" tall, 4" wide, 4" deep and the mouth measures 2" in diameter along the outer rim, 1" in diameter at the opening. less
