The largest piece is an English aesthetic movement design from Brownfield & Sons of Staffordshire, England. The center cartouche is of a sailing ship and Dutch style windmill with an elaborate central as well as rim borders. It dates from 1871 and is of the "Wisconsin" pattern as indicated by the marks on the underside. Dimensions: 10.25"Dia. x 1.25"H. Condition is excellent with no cracks, no chips, no stains, only light crazing.

The smallest piece is a French, art deco inspired humor plate from the "Marchande de Poissons" (fishmonger) series of the St. Amand pottery house. Styling and mark suggest 1930's or 1940's vintage. Dimensions: 7.5"Dia. x.75"H. Condition is good with minor loss of printing and faint hairline cracks.

The middle sized plate is also French, very similar in design to the two others. Of the "Provence" pattern from the well-respected faience factory of Moulin Des Loups & Hamage. The mark indicates fabrication in the 1920's, just after the first World War. Dimensions: 9"Dia. x 1.5"H. Condition is fair with a hairline crack and associated staining, as shown. less
