This is an antique decorative side table. A Continental, flip top wine or lamp stand in Regency revival taste, dating to the Victorian period and later, circa 1900.
Classical European elegance, with flourishes throughout
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Silvered gilt base presents warm cream hues
Hand-painted scene to top framed with walnut and boxwood, showing fine grain interest
Octagonal tilting top ideal for displaying the scene of two lovers
