The screen is made up of six individual folding panels. Each panel is fully lacquered, giving a rich, translucent and black hue. Features crane and Chinese life decoration in hardstones, gilt lacquer decoration over wood on brass feet. Fine condition with minor lacquer chips, some locking hooks missing. The estate purchased these panels in China in 1960's and had them leaning on a massive wall as a prominent focal point. Measuring 72 inches tall by 16 inches wide by 1 1/2 inch thick per panel total width is 96 inches. less
