Second son of Charles-François Champigneulle , master glassmaker associated with Marechal , Louis-Charles-Marie Champigneulle was born in Metz in 1853 .
He established his first workshop in Bar-le-Duc . He then married Marie-Catherine Brasseur. In 1881, Charles Champigneulle moved his studio to Paris at 96 Rue Notre-Dame-des-Champs .
He created his objects, alongside artists such as Galle`, Legras, Daum and Lalique. His works were awarded numerous medals.
Champigneulle became a member of the prize jury, for the works presented in the Art of Glass at the Universal Exhibitions in Paris.
During his creative period, Charles Champigneulle realized numerous stained glass windows, which were inventoried by French museums.
Charles Champigneulle died in 1905 in Savonnières-devant-Bar . This piece has an attribution mark,
