These Steel and iron chairs feature a decorative scrolling floral motif along the backrest and arms with wrought iron frames like much of the high-end furniture made in 1950s America with mesh seats and backrests for a package look that was Modern with a classical curbside appeal.

Russell Woodard is a third-generation member of the Woodard Brothers furniture company family. Lee Woodard started Woodard and Sons and produced metal furniture. In the second generation, Lee's three sons, Joseph, Russell, and Lyman II were responsible for taking the company brand to the national and international level. Woodard Furniture became the leader in quality and design for outdoor furniture in the 1950s. less
