This desk is an excellent example of Empire Traditional furniture, it was made in the early 1900's, it has great Empire style details, and a delightful red brown mahogany finish to the wood. The desk is finished in the back and it could be placed in the middle of the room. This Desk has one dovetailed drawer made out of wood in the inside, and it is working properly, and a shelf on the bottom.
