An entrancing pair of vintage Venetian-style glass and brass table lamps by venerable Murano glassworks company Barovier e Toso. Circa 1960s
Beautiful hand blown bullicante glass body is pale amethyst with dusty rose undertones. It’s enhanced by a shimmering gold-flecked aventurine outer layer. Scalloped solid glass foot stands on an octagonal muted brass base with chain detail. Original brass hardware and fittings, with position able pull-chain sockets and newer wiring. Original lined silk shades.
Glass is in excellent condition; Brass bases have some small, typical tarnish spots but present well, as do the hardware and fittings. Shades have some faint discoloration in spots..
Lamps will be shipped without shades. less
