An Empire / Biedermeier Plum Wood Chair: circa estimated late 1800's, newly Re-Upholstered with a Silk Italian / Chenille Fabric … more An Empire / Biedermeier Plum Wood Chair: circa estimated late 1800's, newly Re-Upholstered with a Silk Italian / Chenille Fabric in a more modern and forward Classic Style. The backrest and seat are upholstered. The upholstery fabric is a Crinkle Italian Silk / Chenille dreamlike Modern Fabric. The upholstery pattern is lined up perfectly as with the unison of the dotted pattern. Very well restored and polished by hand. The rare plum wood looks like a mixture of walnut and cherrywood. The Italian lines gleam through. The Chair is very sturdy and strong and the upholstery is new. Does show some signs of age but only due to ordinary use.
