It has exceptional profuse … Read more An exceptionally fine English Edwardian period aneroid barometer dating from the beginning of the 20th century. It has exceptional profuse naturalistic carving on its walnut case which retains its original finish. The barometer dial measures 7.75' in diameter with a brass mounting bezel. The enamel on steel dial is marked "Lloyd, Payne, & Amiel, Manchester" It also has a glass encased thermometer with graduations in both Fahrenheit and Centigrade and has a special marking at 98.6 F "Blood Heat". The barometer is in perfect working condition having been professionally restored in England. It retains its original brass hanging bracket on the back. See less
