Otagiri made … Read more Vintage set of six saki or tea cups in a camphor wood case by the Japanese firm OTAGIRI. Otagiri made very good ceramicware in post WW2 Japan. The saki cups were individually glazed and each has a separate decoration. There is a lotus leaf, poppy flowers, a tree, pinwheels, a pussywillow buds and another abstract image. The cups measure 3.6" tall and 2.12" diameter at the top and 1.3" diameter at the base. One of the cups has the OTAGIRI foil label. The shipping / storage box is a light-weight wood and has an OTAGIRI foil label and a calligraphic image. All are in excellent condition. See less
