The distinctive coffered composition focuses on a superb ogival medallion embellished with re-curving calyces and undulating ribbons. An expanse of spiraling vine-scrolls adorns the fiery brick-colored ground that encircles the stunning medallion and cuts into the decorative inner borders, which are filled with a lush network of millefleur forests that complement the superlative borders. Ogival arches and ornamental niches give the regal composition an architectural formality infused with Persian geometry.
