Possibly Italian in origin. The quality of this lamp is superb. Both the column and the orb have an elegant patten of cutting of perfect coin spot circles and long clean linear vertical lines. The etched pattern also reminds me of a lot of Scandinavian Mid-20th pieces I have see over the years, especially pieces made in collaboration with Danish sterling makers. The wheel cut design is perfection with the size of the round cuts following the form and shape of the glass increasing and decreasing in an clean art deco pattern that was done by the artist just at the transitional moment and we leaned into the atomic age and the golden era of 20th century design
The lamp is 21" to socket and 29" to top of harp.
