This Rare Early 20th Century Rustic Vintage French Country Painted Settee bench is constructed of a solid carved wood frame and is distressed in a beautiful whitewashed finish revealing the natural wood.
It features a gracefully scalloped camel back top rail conjoined with a center stile and carved hearts on the back of a half-caned window seat, scrolled cane accented arms and lovely carved scalloped apron terminating in elegant cabriole legs and a rushed seat. The sette is fully finished so it will float.
The attention to detail and casual sophistication of this charming bench will create a stunning focal point in an entryway, hallway, bedroom, or in a sunroom and is quite the piece for the discerning collector.
