A wonderful French art deco flush mount in nickel plated bronze or solid brass. Made between 1925 and 1935. The nice little mount holds a globe representing peacocks by the famous Muller frères glass company. It is signed Muller fres Luneville . This model has two signatures. One Muller fres Luneville done handwritten in acid near the rim of the ball and a second one in relief pressed in the mould near the center Muller freres Luneville which on almost all specimen is nearly invisible and only there as a vague structure and unreadable.
The flush mount has a total drop of 16,2 cm (6,38"). The shades are about 14 to 15 cm in diameter.
The lamp is in good condition. The nickel plating shows some wear but is in overall good shape. The mount will come rewired for the US with an American candelabra base socket.
