In 1966 Le Dauphin was founded by Maurice Tournu as a small company for lampshades. In 1970, the first factory was built and in the 1980s the company counted around 250 employees. Per year, more than 50.000 lamps were produced.
Located in the heart of the region Rhône Alpes, Le Dauphin got famous for its timeless style and high-end luminaires.
