The top surface and sections of the sides are lacquered with some lovely hand-painted images. The three interior shelves are permanent and original. The glass door has a brass handle to pull open and twist to lock. The drawer has two brass handles. An excellent accent piece with shallow depth to allow placement in a hallway or showcase in an outdoor garden room or conservatory.


The etagere or bar cart is in excellent shape, with a beautifully aged mellow patina over the whole piece. Presents splendidly, retaining original antique character marks, including scattered scuffs and scratches, minor rubbing and losses, nothing that detracts from the display, but only adds to the sophisticated character, authenticity, and charming elegant warmth. less
