This is an extremely rare find from the gold coast Old Westbury, Long Island estate. A trio of mid century cocktail table set that aligns into semi-circle formation when displayed together. Made of solid wood frame and matte faux burl wood laminate veneers, some what a brutalist in wood style, although more of a elegant old hollywood feel. These cocktail tables are a set of 3 pieces in which can be moved around easily. Comes with cut beveled edge Smoke colored glass inserts that can easily be cleaned and hold cocktails and coffee. Meticulously and creatively placed glass that can be replaced by other transparencies if desired. The burl pattern has a high contrasting pattern all over the frame and legs and in a matte to semi-gloss finish where the shiny smoke glass in contrast works well together.
In excellent original preowned condition. Minimal wear in some areas, clean, structurally sound, excellent workmanship to the wood veneer, no cracks, no chips. Fully functional for use and display, movie production props, interior decorator staging. Works well with other mid-century, Hollywood regency styles and modern mixes where new meets old. The last photo is the original staged home from that period.
