The rich … more We are pleased to offer this elegant hand restored solid mahogany federal style dropleaf / Pembroke butterfly table. The rich mahogany finish highlights the varying wood grains chosen by original carpenter in early - mid 20th century. We love this piece for the choice of the slightly lighter vertical veneer on drawer and back , and of course the curved butterfly leaves, fluted legs, hand painted antiqued medallions and pull that all give this iconic table a classis style for ease of use as night stand, home office or end table. The leaves are supported by wooden slide out pulls and original brass butterfly hinges. The deep drawer is dove tailed with a mahogany bottom. Top is sealed with a matte lacquer top coat and natural wax. (Photos are taken late afternoon in natural outdoor lighting.)
