They support a 7.50 in circular shelf with a 3.50 in opening in its center, on or in which one can place a pot. The stand could also serve as a statuesque holder for an oversized candle. They resemble an abstract interpretation of a pair of shooting stars or geysers, and would look especially striking in a foyer flanking an entrance or staircase.
