Large sandstone pitcher, sober and subtle, with a worked and generous glaze.
An high-quality object, it can fit into many interiors: Mediterranean, bohemian or predominantly ochre, of course, but also design, minimalist or modern thanks to its shape and as long as the color scheme lends itself to it. Finally, it is possible to give it a dark, nostalgic or disturbing aspect by plunging it into a Gothic, macabre interior or a cabinet of curiosities.
It can also be transformed into a vase in certain settings (dried flowers for a macabre setting, bright green flowers in a bohemian interior).
Geneviève BAPTENDIER (1947 - 2014) is a ceramist student of Annie Fourmanoir and having practiced in her two workshops (in Poitou and in the Paris region). She practiced with Laurence MOLINARD.
