This set of six (6) gorgeous Lady Clare Bird Placemats are absolutely stunning and colorful — especially considering their vintage status. These lovely placemats, which measure approximately 9.375" x 8," would look amazing in a table setting for breakfast, a luncheon in the garden or an afternoon tea with the ladies. Each placemat has a unique pair of birds (a la John James Audubon drawings) as their main design element set against an antique white background, and all six are in terrific condition.
Made in Great Britain from durable hardboard, these Lady Clare placemats are also felt backed in green, providing additional protection to your table surface. All mats are rounded at the edges, sealed and finished with a hard wearing lacquer to reduce damage in use and prolong life. All mats are durable and heat resistant to 150oC (300oF).
