- This is a very rare piece manufactured in Italy by Alessi and designed by brother Fernando and Humberto Campana. Their … more This is a very rare piece manufactured in Italy by Alessi and designed by brother Fernando and Humberto Campana. Their very well accomplished design of the Blow Up series in metal became staples of modern design. However, initially, as the story goes, the mock ups and prototypes of the series were manufactured from Bamboo sticks. Years later(in 2010) Alessi and the designers decided to reissue in an limited run the above mentioned series, except this time the pieces would be manufactured as the prototypes, from bamboo. The results were beautiful artworks. This piece is marked with the maker and designers name - see photo. It is in excellent condition without any broken parts. The diameter is approximately 26". less
