It was created by the Sevres China Company (Ohio, USA), which was founded in 1738, and known for creating finely detailed, gilded and hand-painted decorative arts for society's wealthy and privileged.

This antique plate carries the Sevres mark on the back, dating it to between 1900 - 1908. It measures 7 1/4" in diameter, has an elegant gold plating along the edge, and it is in excellent condition.
