By their placement on the rug, and the expressions on their faces, it looks like the one on the right might have a "bone to pick" with the dog on the left.

Measuring a full 20" tall x 32 1/2" long, this wonderful, hand hooked rug is in excellent antique condition. The Scotties are placed against a muted beige background that is bordered in a deep burgundy red. There are places along the edge that are missing a few stitches, but they are barely noticeable, and not unexpected in a piece dating back to the 1920's.
