HBF Furniture makes high quality furniture designed by award winning designers. The is called The Drape Chair and is designed by Barbara Barry - she designs for many furniture makers and is famous for her attention to detail. If you are unfamiliar with HBF, they makes another popular chair called the Dialogue Lounge Chair.
The Drape Chair is made of molded plywood mounted onto a metal frame. It has both a rectilinear and curvilinear aesthetic as well as sculptural and architectural.
The plywood is curved at the knee and waist for a sleek, streamlined silhouette and is ergonometric for
comfort. Really easy to get in and out of.
The chair is narrower at the top 20" and wider at the seat front 26 3/4".
The chair is no longer being made. It has some scratches on the face and a little wear to
the powder coating on the frame back.
