This vintage umber / gold decorative plate from Turkey is a beautiful and heavy catchall dish for display atop your coffee table with its beautiful "tiger-eye" effect. It’s heavy because it appears to be encased in brass, heavy metal such as pewter or clay pottery with a crinkled gold leaf glass glaze; see pictures. This piece reflects light in a wonderful way; I imagine it positioned next to a flickering candle. It’s a rich and traditional piece worthy to be part of your sophisticated decor.
