Small lumbar pillow made from collectible vintage handloomed, hand printed textile from Mali, West Africa.
In the style of mudcloth, but not dyed with the classic earthy ochre/rust tones, this strip-woven cotton cloth was kept white, it's symbolic designs are handprinted in charcoal-y black.

All serged and sewn with invisible zipper. New pillow covers made from vintage fabric that shows signs of its age and travel. Mali mudcloth in particular can have irregular weave, printing and some discolorations all showing its life's journey. Only the best parts of the yardage is used for pillows. less
