This is one of the more sensual (and comfortable) examples from a group of Italian designers from Milan that shaped the international idea of good design in the post war years. Good design was more than just stylistic designation for Zanuso: his concentration on high standards in the practical aspects of design earned him countless awards of recognition. These include six Compasso D'oro, eight international prizes in the Milan Triennale and the presence of his work in the collection of the museum of modern art in New York.
