This antique light was used with whale or kerosene oil and is present with the tin burner and disc reflector that is soldered to one side. It is mold blown colorless clear glass. Globular font with flat base and embossed with " The Handy Night Lamp" on the side. Manufactered by William A. Noe of Corning and part of The Corning Museum of Glass located in Corning, NY.
This lamp is a piece of American history at the turn of the century and I wish it could speak of the bedtime stories it heard. less
