The POV is from Gapstow Bridge. Personally I feel it is an autumnal image just as the city is gearing up for winter. the ice beginning to form on the water surface & the barren trees preparing for the first snow

In the image you can see the historic Sherry Netherland, Savoy Plaza Hotel and the Plaza (among others)
beautifully printed.
The soft impressionistic details in reflection of the glassy water is my favorite part of the photo

It is certainly by a master's hand.
I see a connection to the work that Alfred Stieglitz was producing from 1930-1937 .
The subject matter the style and texture of the print, the size and quality are very similar to comparable works of his from that era. less
