A stunningly beautiful contemporary art glass vase by Fenton. Purple translucent opaline glass with a Caprice drape is accented by a hand painted "ribbon" that circles the neck of the vase and is tied in a bow on one side. Signed on the bottom, "Hand painted by S Davis". Hard to get an exact measurement because of the ruffled top, but it stands about 6 1/2" tall.
I love the way the light passes through the translucent purple opaline glass. Kind of reminds me of a mist through purple streaks in the sky at sunset.
No chips, cracks, or unusual wear. Absolutely lovely. less
