A colorful and attractive ginger jar.  A very elaborate Chinese garden architecture featuring many robed characters surrounded by cartouches of birds on branches and orange Koi.  This hand painted, multicolored vessel is detailed with key fret borders.  It is a likely export from the 1920s and a wonderfully imagined specimen.

Condition is excellent, no chips or cracks. Very good color retention. Wear due to age and use.
