Designed by Hans Schiffner for Rosenthal in the Art Deco style, is this stunning "ming dragon' vase dating to 1922. It is richly gilt decorated with dragons and waves on a coral ground. All hand done. The porcelain is beautiful with a high lustre and the painting is exquisite.Labeled "Rosenthal Rot" (Rot is red in German) these pieces are quite desirable and not seen that often.The vase measures 5 1/8" at opening, and stands 4.75" tall.It is in excellent condition.
