This ornate ceiling light fixture is reflective of the opulent Beaux Arts movement in America, which gained momentum after the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. This wonderful flush mount fixture is highly decorated with a frieze of leaf motifs and was salvaged from an old home in Chicago, IL. The fixture retains its original ceramic sockets and finial. It has acquired a fine patina and is all original, unrestored and in very good antique condition with normal wear from age and use. Would make for a fine addition to any classic, elegant home. Rewiring is recommended for safety purposes.
