Description: A colorful and decorative hand painted bowl with a central foo lion design. The foo lion has a dragon and … more A colorful and decorative hand painted bowl with a central foo lion design. The foo lion has a dragon and phoenix circling around him searching for the pearl of wisdom. These elements are mixed in with peonies, cranes and clouds with artemisia and coin cartouches.

The bowl has a raised foot and an unglazed foot ring. The base is glazed and unmarked. The bowl was hand-thrown you can see the potter’s wheel marks on the base and the body.

MEASUREMENTS

8 ½” (21.6 cm) diameter x 4” (10.2 cm) tall. Weighs 2 lbs 3.2 oz (995 g)
