This antique cassettiera (chest of drawers) from Italy features a rectangular-shaped top, which slightly overhangs the case below which houses two full-sized drawers, each fitted with a pair of stylish brass pulls flanking a shield-shaped escutcheon within their center. The chest is nicely raised on tapered squared legs. The walnut wood is warm and rich, with lovely graining throughout.
