This double decked Morroccan lantern influenced table lamp provides 3 distinct light adjustments that are excellent for setting the ambient mood as needed. It's a super efficient for adding or detracting from the amount of light desired by choosing the levels demanded with two separate turn on switches to choose from. There is a lower encased set of 4 candlestick shaped sockets for a quad of candelabra sized bulbs. When used by themselves they provide a dim light perfect for low general illumination. This is ideal for the evening when a casual relaxing mode is called for and needed. There is an upper light socket that can accommodate a 3 way lightbulb for a bright, brighter and brightest illumination. Finally, when the upper and lower lights are turned on, this lamp lights up an entire living room with strong enough lumens to be able to read the small print without struggle. The body of the lamp is comprised of 6 paneled chambers that are made up of center floral designed pattern etched glass panels that are box framed by upper, lower & flanking panels of glass. The result is sophisticated, traditionally yet fully exotic. In true Mid-century modern style, this Hollywood Regency glamorous 3' tall lamp blends a little Danish Modern influence as evidenced by the rounded smooth edged lines of the teak base that tops the gilded 8 sided plinth and teak pillar style collar. The lamp has a single ply white raw silk lampshade described as a concave barrel shaped classic mid-century shade with an upper and lower banded finish. circa 1980s
