This Truly is an Absolutely Beautiful - Very Fine Quality Antique Solid Sterling Silver Child's Cereal Bowl Set - Bowl and Matching Under Plate. American in Origin. Circa Very Early 20th Century. It is Rendered in a Wonderful Transitional Victorian - Art Nouveau Style that has an Assortment of 4 Different Winged Cherubs with Ribbon Bow and Assorted Flower Garlands. It has Exceptionally Nice Detail in the High Relief Features. It is Marked - Would have Originally Been Sold by One of Americas Premier Retailers - BLACK, STARR & FROST ( Most Likely Boston Location ). It does Not have a Makers Mark but it was Most Likely Produced by the Gorham Silver Manufacturing Company. It is Also Marked STERLING 140. It has a SUBSTANTIAL SOLID STERLING SILVER WEIGHT ( Both Pieces Combined ) of Approx. 622.97 Grams / 20.029 Troy Ounces. Both Pieces have Fancy Hand Engraved 3 Letter Monograms. It has a Faded - Age and Use Worn Gold Wash Interior. It is in Very Good Overall Original Condition - Displays Beautifully. It has a Very Minor - Faint Dent at the Base Area - Not Noticeable. It Is Lightly Tarnished and Could Use a Good Cleaning - Polishing - Buffing.
