Originals produced in Austria, Bauhauspiece is sometimes among the rare of its kind. This desk is a product of the small Viennese company “Josef and Leopold Quittner” (decrypted on the metal rings between the steel tube connections) . This was based in Michelbeuerngasse.
The desk has 5 shops and a box part. The steel tube construct is on spherical feet. A black inserted glass plate serves as a table top.
The wooden elements of the desk were stained in dark palatees, while the steel tube was left in the original condition. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
