This set of sixteen lithographs (offset) by the famous German Expressionist Franz Marc (Germany 1880-1916) depict abstracted animals. Extremely well drawn and composed with a colorful, vibrant palette. These diminutive prints are great for a large wall treatmnt or several smaller groupings. Dimensions; 4.5" x 7".
Franz Moritz Wilhelm Marc (8 February 1880 – 4 March 1916) was a German painter and printmaker, one of the key figures of German Expressionism. He was a founding member of Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider), a journal whose name later became synonymous with the circle of artists collaborating in it.
