Description: Chinese bird and flower scroll, freely drawn colored inks on heavy paper, mounted on a black, gray and gold, silk … more Chinese bird and flower scroll, freely drawn colored inks on heavy paper, mounted on a black, gray and gold, silk brocade in a dragon and fenghuang medallions pattern, signed, with a poem in Caoshu script, with numerous red seal marks in various sizes and shapes scattered about the image. The image size is 24.75" wide x 50.75" high. With a shimmering, dark copper, silk makio and kakio at the top and rosewood jikusaki at the bottom. The outer scroll covering is a light and medium gold, silk brocade. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century.
