This is a large and I think older crystal inkwell that has some discoloration. It has an attached metal lid with an unfortunate dent in the front.
The inkwell measures 3.50 inches across each side and each side is slightly less than 2.50 inches high. All four edges are cut off at an angle. Height to the top of the lid is just over 4.00 inches.
The sides are flat, but the bottom is cut as shown. The well is small considering the size and the inkwell is lovely and the cuts are clean with no chips or damage. There is likely some darkening from ink, age, or both.
